Automatic Refills
Many maintenance medications are automatically refilled when they’re due, helping reduce the chance of accidentally running out.
If you prefer not to have medications filled automatically, simply let us know. We’re happy to pause your automatic refills until you ask us to resume them.
We believe your prescriptions should work around your schedule—not the other way around.
When You’re Out of Refills
Sometimes a prescription reaches the end of its authorized refills.
When that happens, we’ll send a refill authorization request to your prescribing healthcare provider on your behalf.
While we’re happy to help coordinate the process, we also encourage patients to stay in close communication with their healthcare providers. Scheduling follow-up appointments and requesting prescription renewals before your medication runs out can help prevent unnecessary interruptions in therapy.
Planning Ahead
Many medications work best when they’re taken consistently and without interruption.
Checking your medication supply a few days before you’re due to run out gives everyone—your pharmacy, your healthcare provider, and you—enough time to address any refill needs.
A little planning can go a long way toward avoiding missed doses.
